Family Camp

Friday, August 9th - Sunday, August 11th 

Camp Tavor is so thrilled to be returning to a full and robust Family Camp programming for Summer 2024! 

​

This weekend getaway from cell phones, television, and other life distractions, is a wonderful opportunity to come to learn about Camp Tavor and the programming available to our campers. It offers our youngest campers to-be a chance to experience sleepaway camp with the comfort of parents and siblings, to help cultivate new relationships and friendships. 

​

Whether you are a Camp Tavor or Habonim Dror alum introducing your children to camp or if you're experiencing Tavor for the first time - our programming has something for everyone including the chance to just reconnect as a family and have a relaxing weekend celebrating Shabbat, dance under the stars, and explore Jewish values.

Join us for: 

• Children and family programs, games, and activities. 

• Swimming, boating, and beach time! 

• Shabbat dinner, Havdalah, and other classic Camp Tavor Shabbat experiences 

• Camp-style lodging in tzrifim (cabins), ohelim (canvas tents), or bring your own tent

• Kosher-style group meals 

• 68 acres of beautiful outdoors to explore and much, much more

Family Camp will take place from 4:30 PM(EST) on Friday through 12:30 PM(EST) Sunday. Families are welcome to arrive anytime after 3 PM EST.

If we reach capacity, we hope that you will consider experiencing Camp Tavor through the Cabin and Camping Rental Program, available from mid-August through September. The Cabin and Camping Rental program does not include meal service or programming but provides a peaceful and wonderful opportunity to retreat to Camp Tavor with your family and friends.
