This year Tour L’Tavor will be taking place from July 28th to July 30st!

Join us for the 8th annual Tour L’ Tavor bike ride! Starting at Foster Beach on the north side of Chicago, we will ride as a group 165 miles through Chicago, Northern Indiana, and Southwest Michigan, arriving at Camp Tavor for Second Session Visitor’s Day. Meals, snacks and lodging are provided along the way. All levels of cyclists are encouraged to join. The entire ride is 3-days long but you are welcome to join us on Saturday or even just Sunday for the last leg.

Check out the NEW route map and info here!

Tour L’ Tavor is a fundraiser for the Camp Tavor Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are provided to families who wouldn’t otherwise be able to send their kids to camp. This year we are utilizing the Classy fundraising platform. You can contribute directly or start your own fundraiser. Any contributions are greatly appreciated but for those participants who raise over $500 you will get a free Tour L’ Tavor 2017 Jersey!

Riders of all skill levels are encouraged to join. There is always a group of speed-demons leading the charge, but there are also many moderate and more relaxed riders bringing up the rear. No matter your skill, strength, or speed, there will be others for you to ride with. And our ever helpful volunteers will be there to assist if necessary. Last year we had riders ranging in ages from 17 to 73 years old. We welcome any that want to join and will make sure you make it to Tavor one way or another.

This year we will following a somewhat revised route. Instead of spending Saturday night in Niles, MI we will veer south and spend the night in South Bend, IN. As always, guests and friends are invited to join us for Saturday night dinner which will be at the Waterford Estates Lodge.

Tour L’ Tavor relies on the generosity of many volunteers to help with transport, route/road assistance, and setting up. If you would like to volunteer please register and we will follow-up. Partial volunteers/riders are also encouraged if you only want to bike part of the ride.

Please post pictures or stories to from past ridesĀ on ourĀ Facebook page!

See you on the trail!!
