Our Impact

What our alumni have to say about their time at Camp Tavor.

"My years at Tavor taught me far more than the movement's pillars. They gave me the life skills and support network that shape who I am today. Tavor taught me compassion, open-mindedness, the power of collaborative efforts, the courage to speak up for myself and others, and to generally be aware of (and question) the messages I receive. These lessons have served me well. I am a better friend, partner, professional, citizen, and most importantly, I'm a better human being because of Tavor. I'm eager to help Tavor continue to thrive, grow, and nurture future generations. I'm participating in the Alumni Kupah Sustainer campaign so others can have the privilege of belonging to the Tavor community."

Lauren Brownstone

"Throughout my life, Tavor has shaped who I am. As a chanich, it rooted me in an identity based on the values of community, tzedaka, social justice and tikkun olam. My time on tzevet taught me the true value of work and how to collaborate as part of a team towards a larger goal. There was something very meaningful in helping to build something that was there before me and will continue long after me. The alumni kupah sustainer program is a great way to stay connected to the place that has given us so much."

Paul Gross

"At Tavor, I learned that youth have the power to build a better world. I learned how to be an impactful and compassionate educator and activist. I am so grateful to Tavor for lifelong community, and I am participating in the Alumni Kupah because I want to stay connected and ensure that other kids can grow at Tavor, too!"
